Today was Josie’s last day of 3rd grade. I can’t believe summer is here. I was looking back on portrait sessions I’ve done so far this year and this was my first one of 2025. From start to finish…. Since I rented this studio, I planned to make a rain room/shower area. Take me back to where I learned what it was like to be a true photographer. Someone in the moment creating with other creatives. Someone that got barely any sleep but left with nothing but memories and amazing portraits. Take me back to the place that filled my creative soul with so much art. These creative journeys are what fueled my own workshop retreats. Full creative freedom with a mix of style and structure. Learning as much as you can. Figuring things out on your own. Looking back and analyzing what you’re gonna do better at next time. Having a helping hand everywhere you turned.
